Judging Process

Judges will read and score all the entry forms assigned to them, considering any supporting materials submitted. Judges will be asked to give a score for each criterion within the entry form. These individual scores will be combined to give an overall score for the entry. All judges’ scores will then be combined, and only the highest-scoring entries will determine the shortlists. Judges will e-meet to discuss the highest-scoring entries and then agree on the winner for each category. Judges may, at their discretion, award a high commendation in each category.

The shortlists will be announced on Monday 30th March. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday 21st May.

Confidentiality & Impartiality

To ensure that our awards are impartial, ethical, and transparent, we ask that our judges sign a charter agreeing to:

  • dedicate sufficient time to reading, judging and scoring the entries
  • delete all judging materials and marks immediately after the judging period
  • declare any conflicts of interest
  • not allow personal relationships or experiences to influence judging
  • keep judging discussions confidential and contained only to the judging panel
    not share confidential material, judging papers or entries with anyone
  • not notify anyone that they have won or that they are shortlisted ahead of the official announcements
  • not give any feedback to entrants as to why they have not won or were not shortlisted – all requests for feedback must be directed to Tamarindo.

Anna is a Chartered Engineer and Technical Manager for ENGIE (UK/Ireland) with 16 years’ experience. She led 2GW+ of technical due diligence for wind, solar, and BESS, and manages the development pipeline. 

Adam Beaumont, Northland Power (2025)

Adam Beaumont

SVP Capital Markets, Northland Power

Adam is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 18 years' experience. Formerly VP of Finance/Head of Capital Markets at Northland, he is currently overseeing the company's finance function. 

Stepfanie Bourne DNV

Stepfanie Bourne

Director - Renewables & Offshore Wind, DNV

Stefanie is DNV's Director for Renewables (UK/Ire). A 16-year global expert rooted in technical science, she guides finance, legal, and development sectors to invest wisely in the energy transition.

Partner, Denham Capital Management

Justin is Partner and Co-Head of DSI at Denham Capital. He has 20 years of global investment/operational experience and serves on DSI's key Investment, Valuation, & ESG Committees.

Partner, EY

Michelle is Global Head of Sustainability for EY Law, a dual-qualified UK/US lawyer with 25+ years’ experience. She advises on ESG, regulatory regimes, and manages a team that has worked on over 200GW of global clean energy projects.

Sergio has 30 years' international wind industry experience. He has led global multinationals in investments, asset management, and operations including companies such as Statkraft, BP and GE Wind.

Yolanda at HWF Partners focuses on c.100 renewable energy policies since 2022. She is an experienced energy transactional lawyer having worked for firms like Orrick &Ashurst.

Kasper Dalsten is Vestas Development's VP/Head of Strategy & Commercial Management. An economist and former Danish Ministry of Finance official, he pioneered Vestas's entry into emerging local content markets.

Entry Fees

  • There is a submission fee of £300 + VAT per entry to enter any of our awards programmes, however we are offering 2 free entries per company if you register online before 1st December 2025.
  • Please also note that free entries are also on offer to Tamarindo clients and members. Please enquire for full details.

Rules

  • Entries should relate to work undertaken between 1st January 2025 to 31st December 2025.
  • Entry questions vary depending on your chosen category, please take care when filling out the questions on each entry form. If the information provided is not relevant to the information requested, judges may, at their discretion, score the question with 0 points, or your entry may not be judged altogether.
  • Please ensure you read our terms and conditions before submitting an entry.
